In what could be deemed one of the more bizarre of home-and-home matchups in Florida’s history, the Panthers and Coyotes will rumble tonight in the desert and complete the set next Thursday evening. That’s right, another long layoff is on tap: a full four days.
The lengthy time off between games (there have been two such stretches of three full days since the season began) appears to have been a boon for the Cats: a 2-0-1 record, all on the road. Perhaps the best evidence of team-bonding is simply getting out of Dodge for a long spell.
