Jonathan Huberdeau To Remain With Florida Panthers

According to an article on TSN, rookie left wing Jonathan Huberdeau will stay with the Florida Panthers for the remainder of the season instead of being returned to his junior team, the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL. This means the first year of his entry-level deal will take effect once he plays another NHL game.

Huberdeau has a goal and two assists so far this season, all in the opening night win over Carolina. The Cats’ prize prospect has also posted an even rating, taken 13 shots on goal and recorded three hits in the first five games of the season.
