LBC’s 2026 NHL Playoff Predictions Contest: Third Round

Alright Florida Panthers fans, the time has come to make your selections for round three of the Litter Box Cats annual playoff predictions contest.

We are down to two series, so for this round, the points will range from 8 to 7 with an additional bonus points for picking the winner in the correct amount of games.

Bonus points will also be awarded if you can hit on the player who scores the winning goal in the series-ending game of both conference finals and the player who scores the first goal of the series for each team.

Remember, the contest is done round-by-round and there is an overall winner at the end of the playoffs, so make sure to stay in the game if you want to have a chance at ending up top Cat come June.

There will a total of 27 points up for grabs.

  • 8 points for the series winner (A) / 7 points for the series winner (B)
  • 1 point bonus for calling the winner of each series in the correct amount of games
  • 3 points for picking the player who scores the GWG in the clinching game of each series
  • 2 points for picking the player who will score the first goal of the series for each team

Eastern Conference Final

  • Carolina Hurricanes vs. Montreal Canadiens

Western Conference Final

  • Colorado Avalanche vs. Vegas Golden Knights
