LBC’s 2018-19 First-Round Playoff Predictions contest
Calvey takes regular season honors with 21 points
Mid-April is here, so it’s time to make your picks for LBC’s annual playoff predictions contest.
But first, let’s give a big LBC Congrats! to Calvey for winning our second annual regular season predictions contest. Calvey correctly picked three division winners (5 points each) Tampa Bay, Washington, and Nashville, and two last place teams (3 points each) , Ottawa and Minnesota, to finish with a grand total of 21 points.
Second place went to Clint Tankersley and jt991014 with 18 points. Who’s Your Vladi, CatatonicCatalyst and BonkiOne finished with 16 points.
No one correctly called the Panthers finish of 86 points to collect the ten points that came with it. The closet player to the Cats total was DayZeroPantherFan (90), and BonkiOne (92) was also close enough to pick up three bonus points.
Now back to the postseason contest... The contest is done round-by-round and there is an overall winner at the end of the playoffs, so make sure to get in at the beginning if you want to have a chance at taking top honors come June.
Make your selections in the comment section. Scoring for the first round is three points for each series-winner plus an additional point if you call the winner in the correct number of games.
