The Florida Panthers re-signed prospect defenseman Mikulas Hovorka to a one-year, two-way contract worth $850K at the NHL level and $100K at the AHL level. Hovorka produced five goals and 13 assists while posting an impressive plus-23 rating in 57 games with the Charlotte Checkers. The 25-year-old made four appearances with the Panthers and collected his first NHL assist in the season-finale against the Detroit Red Wings.
Restricted free agent forward Jason Robertson and the Dallas Stars agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth $12 million on Tuesday. Robertson and the Stars will avoid an arbitration hearing that was scheduled for July 25. The 27-year-old led Dallas in scoring with 96 points and tied for the team lead in goals with 45.
Out of the fifteen players who filed for arbitration, ten have signed new deals with their clubs.

Defenseman John Marino will remain in Salt Lake City for the long term, as he inked an eight-year deal worth an annual average value of $6.75 million per season with the Utah Mammoth. Marino put up four goals and 36 points while logging 20:12 in ice time over 80 games in 2025-26 to help the Mammoth make the postseason for the first time since relocating from Arizona.
