Monday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum – Busy week in the books

The Florida Panthers had a busy start to the 2015-16 campaign, playing five games in seven days after being one of the last teams in the league to get started.

Florida managed to post a 3-2 record in those five games and now faces a pretty stern test in its first extended road trip of the season. After tomorrow night’s tilt with the Penguins, the Cats will make stops in Chicago and Dallas before they return home to face the Avalanche next Tuesday.

How are you feeling about the Panthers after five games? I’m pretty encouraged by what I’ve seen so far, but the blown two-goal lead to Dallas at home was a little bit disturbing. I’d also like to see more complete efforts from start to finish, however, it’s early in the season and there is still plenty of time to iron out some of the warts we’ve seen thus far. We should know a little bit more about this year’s model of Cats after this three-game stretch.

The floor is yours, so let it rip in the comment section. Tell us your feelings and thoughts on how the Cats over their first five.

LBC will kick off our pregame coverage of the Pittsburgh tilt tonight with Kevin’s three questions for PensBurgh’s Eric Bowser at 7 p.m.
