NHL Postseason Caterwaul: Florida Panthers at the World Championship
It’s do or die time for the quartet of Cats in Slovakia
It’s do or die time for the quartet of Florida Panthers playing at the 2019 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia.
In the early games, Vincent Praplan and Switzerland will take on Canada and Frank Vatrano and Team USA will take on Russia. That the Panthers have a player on each squad guarantees a Cat, probably Dadonov, will make it to the semifinal round.
Unfortunately, NHL Network is airing the Canada game for some reason. Hopefully, the listing I’m looking at is in error, and the States will get a feed of the USA-Russia game.
The second set of games sees Juho Lammikko and Finland taking on arch-rival Sweden and Germany doing battle with the Czech Republic.
Here is the schedule for today’s games:
Canada vs. Switzerland (Vincent Praplan) 10:15 a.m. NHL Network, TSN
Russia (Evgenii Dadonov) vs. USA (Frank Vatrano) 10:15 a.m. TSN3
Finland (Juho Lammikko) vs. Sweden 2:15 p.m. NHL Network, TSN
Czech Republic vs. Germany 2:15 p.m. TSN4
