- The New York Times' SlapShot blog has Stu Hackel traveling forward one year in time, revealing the next twelve months will be chock-full of weighty hockey stories. Something to look forward to in February of 2009:/
The Globe and Mail reports that Jim Balsillie is very close to buying the Florida Panthers to move them to Southern Ontario, but when he finds out he also must buy the BankAtlantic Center, the deal never materializes.
