Tippett was selected with the tenth overall pick after scoring 44 goals and adding 31 assists for the OHL Mississauga Steelheads in 60 games during his draft year.
Although he didn’t stand out in the final scrimmage, Tippett did impress during the Panthers’ recent development camp in Coral Springs.
It seems like the 18-year-old will be given every opportunity to make the big club if he has a good training camp and this is the first.
Welcome to the fold, Red!
