Forward Marco Sturm has seen very limited playing time with the Florida Panthers throughout 2011-12, as nursing bumps and bruises has unfortunately become an all-too-common activity for the 17-year veteran since his trade from Vancouver in October. He’s been remarkably effective against the Maple Leafs over his career however, notching 13G-20A, 9PPP, & 2 GWG in 42 games with a plus-10.

- Didn’t affect our fate in any way, but Teemu Selanne‘s gorgeous game-tying power play goal late in the third period against Colorado lifted him into 19th place all-time in scoring (ironically knocking fellow Finn Jari Kurri into 20th). Dude just keeps defying age but remaining as relevant as at any time over the past decade.
