The Florida Panthers have acquired the exclusive negotiating rights for defenseman Radko Gudas from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for the rights to forward A.J. Greer.
Florida will need to ink Gudas to a new deal before July 1, or he will become an unrestricted free agent.
Gudas appeared in 56 games with Anaheim in 2025-26, producing two goals and 13 points and led all Ducks defensemen with 164 hits. He served as the team’s captain from 2024-25 to 2025-26.
The 36-year-old Gudas competed in 37 postseason games as a member of the Panthers, helping the Cats reach the Stanley Cup Final in 2023.
Greer departs the organization with a Stanley Cup ring, and put up career-highs in goals (17), assists (15), and points (32) last season. We’ll miss you, A.J.
