Randy Moller added to Panthers television broadcast team

According to a press release from Fox Sports Florida, Florida Panthers radio voice Randy Moller will take over the role held last season by Bill Lindsay on the club’s television broadcasts.

Moller duties will include serving as the analyst on Panthers LIVE! pregames, intermissions and postgame shows, along with providing in-game commentary from between the benches at all home games and some road games.

The Red Deer, Alberta native has spent the last seventeen years serving the Panthers organization in a variety of capacities after winding up his playing career suiting up 17 times for the club during the 1994-95 season.

Fox Sports Florida’s SVP/GM Steve Tello had this to say:

“We are extremely pleased to add Randy Moller to the broadcast team.” “He brings great knowledge to the broadcast as a former player, and his insights on the team’s continued development will add a new dimension to the broadcast. We would also like to thank Bill Lindsay for his years contributing to our broadcasts and Panther hockey.”

WQAM and the Panthers will need to replace Moller’s colorful play-by-play work on the club’s radio broadcasts.

How do you feel about Moller replacing Lindsay?

I like it, good move 44
I like Randy, but he is better on the radio. Should have kept Billy 122
