San Antonio Rampage re-sign forwards Wade Megan and Tony Turgeon

Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon announced the signings of center Wade Megan and forward Tony Turgeon to one-year, AHL contracts.

Megan, who was drafted by the Cats in the 5th round of the 2009 Entry Draft, split time between the Rampage and ECHL Cincinnati last season. In 43 games with San Antonio, the 24-year-old tallied 11 goals and added 6 assists. He scored 13 goals and added 7 helpers in 16 regular season games with the Cyclones. In the ECHL playoffs, Megan was a very effective performer, notching 10 goals and 3 assists, as Cincinnati fell 4 games to 2 in the Kelly Cup finals to the Alaska Aces.

The bruising 6’4″, 228 lb Turgeon, a college defenseman converted to forward, appeared in 5 scoreless games with the Rampage, where he racked up 21 PIM. The former University of Nebraska-Omaha blueliner suited up for 13 games with the Cyclones and posted 2 assists, 59 PIM, and a +1 rating.
