Saturday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers & IIHF World Championship Open Forum

Florida Panthers Nick Bjugstad and Jacob Markstrom will try to take another step towards gold medal glory today in Stockholm. Because of the way the match-ups are set in the medal round, at least one of the two Cats’ youngsters is guaranteed to leave the tournament with at least a bronze, but it sure would be exciting for Panthers fans to see the two meet in tomorrow’s final. Look for Bjugstad to again skate on the USA’s fourth line with Danny Kristo and Aaron Palushaj. Following his stellar performance against Canada, I would expect Buffalo’s Jhonas Enroth to get the nod over “The Alien” between the pipes for Sweden.
