A very exciting second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs is in the books and the conference finals are set. In the east, the Pittsburgh Penguins will take on the Ottawa Senators, and in the west, the Anaheim Ducks will face the Nashville Predators.
In the most self-deprecating way I can type this, I was the winner of round two of our little contest. I went three for four picking the series (missed on the Oilers – Ducks) and I called those three winners in the correct amount of games to pick up three bonus points to finish with a total of 12 points. Right on my heels with 11 points were sticky chowder, TKelley92, DavidKnight1304, Panther_fan93 and thebiz34. Najski holds a slim one point in the overall standings after two rounds.

Third Round

Anaheim Ducks vs Nashville Predators
The scoring for the third round will remain the same, three points for a correct prediction and a bonus point for calling the winner in the correct amount of games. Since there are only two series, we’ll use the tiebreaker again. That tiebreaker will be the total amount of goals scored in the Penguins – Senators series. Since we are a Panthers blog, we’ll keep it in house with the Eastern Conference series. Please enter your picks in the comment section mirroring the way I entered mine below.
