Very little news at this early time, but USA Today’s AP feed is reporting the Cats dropped a close one in a shootout to host Taparra in Tampere.
The shots on goal told a different story: Florida peppered the opposition’s tandem with 50, while new Panthers goaltender Scott Clemmensen ended the day with 27 saves on 29 shots.
