As the deadline inches closer, look for GM Dale Tallon to make a move that sends the 34-year old Reasoner to a contender. The veteran forward is most known for his PK prowess (Ranks first amongst FLA forwards for SH TOI with 171:43) and efficiency at the face-off dot (leading the Cats with a 54.3 FO%, which is good for 20th in the NHL), but he’s currently on pace for 35 points, which would be a career best– which makes him even more of a bargain at his $253,495 prorated cap hit.
Early rumours dictate that Reasoner could end up in Vancouver, but consider him a last minute option for a teams like Washington and Anaheim who need veteran help down the middle. He has reportedly expressed a desire to remain with the Panthers.
