Tuesday Caterwaul: Vegas joins Florida in Final with 6-0 rout of Stars

William Karlsson scored twice and added an assist for the Vegas Golden Knights, who advanced to the Stanley Cup Final for the second time in franchise history with a 6-0 rout over the Dallas Stars in Game 6 of the Western Conference Final at American Airlines Center.

Adin Hill stopped 23 shots, and Keegan Kolesar, Michael Amadio, and William Carrier each had a goal and an assist for the Golden Knights, who are the top seed from the Western Conference.

Vegas will meet the well-rested Florida Panthers, who will also be making their second appearance in the Final, after the Cats disposed of the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes to capture the Prince of Wales Trophy.

The Panthers and Golden Knights will each attempt to win its first Stanley Cup championship. Florida was swept by the Colorado Avalanche in their only previous appearance in 1996. Vegas was vanquished in five games by the Washington Capitals in their inaugural season in 2018.

Game 1 of the series will take place on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena. Should be a doozy!
