NHL Draft 2017: Florida Panthers select Tyler Inamoto with No. 133 overall pick

The Florida Panthers have selected defenseman Tyler Inamoto of the U.S. National Development Program with its fifth round pick (133rd overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

In 51 games with USNDT this season, Inamoto scored two goals and eleven assists, and racked up 108 PIM.

Inamoto has size (6’2”, 196), is a good skater and has been praised for his play away from the puck. He has potential as a shutdown defender. He will attend the University of Wisconsin in the fall.
