In case you missed it, the American Hockey League has released its 2016-17 schedule. You can click on this link to see every team’s sked for the upcoming season, including the Springfield Thunderbirds. The T-Birds will open the campaign with a three-game road trip starting in Lehigh Valley on October 15. The former Pirates first home game in their new digs is a week later against the St. John’s IceCaps.
