Yaroslav Kosov Nets Three As Russia Romps Over Germany
Florida's 2011 fifth rounder delivers a third period hat trick in 7-0 rout of Team Germany.
Florida Panthers prospect Yaroslav Kosov fired in three third period goals during Team Russia's 7-0 victory over Team Germany in Saturday action from the 2013 World Junior Championship. Kosov played on Russia's fourth line today with Kirill Kasputin and Yevgeni Mozer. He finished with four shots on goal, a +3 rating and won both of the draws he took in the game.
His first two goals were scored with the teams at even strength. The first was assisted by Andrei Mironov and the second was unassisted. His final goal was a shorthanded marker with just under two minutes remaining in the game. Maxim Shalunov drew the only assist on that goal.
Edmonton Oilers prospect Nail Yakupov finished the game with a goal and an assist.

In other Euro news: Marcel Goc did not play today in Adler Mannheim's 5-2 quarterfinal loss to HC Fribourg-Gotteron at the Spengler Cup. Goc played well defensively in his two tournament appearances but did not register a point. Fribourg-Gotteron advances to the semifinals where they will face Team Canada.
