Like many of you, a few of us will be heading for Coral Springs this morning as the completely revamped Florida Panthers roster makes its public debut. Deserving of equal attention are the players ultimately bound for San Antonio and Cincinnati (and possibly a few to Rio Grande Valley as well); we know what the Big Boys bring, but one of the pure joys involved in watching training camp action is witnessing the (hopefully) forward progression of the organization’s overall depth. These are the guys who receive so few plaudits while plying their trade in cities and leagues such as those above, but have the weight of the club’s world placed upon their shoulders during a recall. Show ’em some love.
On the downside, it remains a crime that we’re not treated to our NCAA big-timers; Nick Bjugstad, Zach Hyman, etc. deserve a tip of the collective hat.
