"It's exciting right now to be a part of this club, the potential that it has," goalie Roberto Luongo told the Miami Herald. "We're just trying to stay in the moment right now, get ready and accumulate as many points as we can and clinch a playoff spot." Petr Mrazek made 23 saves to blank Florida 3-0 in the most recent matchup Feb. 8, but he fell ill and sat out Detroit's 3-1 win over Columbus on Thursday. Jimmy Howard stopped 27 shots, and he could be in net for this one if Mrazek isn't ready to go. "We can enjoy the flight down to Florida and then we've got to forget about it and get ready for the Panthers," Howard said. "They're ahead of us in the standings and we're scratching and clawing for points here and we're going to need to build off of this." (More)
