Game 3 Gameday: Florida Panthers at Boston Bruins

Graphic design: Francisco Oporta

The Florida Panthers are in Beantown, where they will try to take the series lead on the Boston Bruins with a win tonight at TD Garden. After a disappointing outing in Game 1, the Cats shrugged off an early Boston strike in Game 2, scoring six consecutive goals during the final forty minutes en route to a 6-1 victory. Aleksander Barkov produced his first-ever 4-point playoff game with two goals and two assists; Sam Reinhart collected a franchise postseason record four helpers; and Brandon Montour scored a goal and added two assists. Gustav Forsling’s buzzer beater at the end of the second period gave the Panthers a huge jolt going into the third. Sergei Bobrovsky enjoyed a rather light workload, thanks to a swarming defensive effort that limited the Bruins to a mere 15 shots on goal.
