Panthers’ Goc Scores Goal, Santorelli And Kopecky Debut In Action From Europe

Marcel Goc (pictured above) struck on a third period power play to pull Adler within a goal but Kolner Haie would add another late tally for a 3-1 home victory in Friday action from the D.E.L. Wearing #21, Mike Santorelli centered Tingsryds’ top line flanked by his brother Mark and Tomas Larsson during his Friday debut in HockeyAllsvenskan which is the second highest division in Sweden. He assisted on Tingsryds only goal in a 2-1 shootout loss on the road to IK Oskarshamn. The Tingsryds goal was scored in the second period on the power play by Larsson and tied the game at one after Joakim Hagelin had staked Oskarshamn to an early lead. Giullio Scandella scored twice in the shootout to offset Mark Santorelli’s goal providing second place Oscarshamn with the win. Tingsryds picked up one point with the shootout loss and moved into a tenth place tie with IF Malmo.

Tomas Kopecky scored a goal and added an assist in Dukla Trencin’s come from behind 4-2 win over HK 36 Skalica in Friday action from Slovakia’s Extraliga. Kopecky struck late in the first period after Skalica had jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. He then assisted on Rostislav Marosz’s tying goal in the second period. Martin Jukabek scored the game winning goal late in the second period while Radoslav Tybor scored the clincher at the 13:50 mark of the third period. Tomas Klima had two assists for Dukla Trencin who moved up to seventh place in the standings with the home ice win.
