Tuesday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Offseason Open Forum

Josh Anderson notched his second goal of the game at 3:57 of overtime, and the Montreal Canadiens staved off elimanition in the Stanley Cup Final with a gritty 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 4 at Bell Centre.

Anderson got the game-winner when he knocked in a loose puck in front after Cole Caufield’s attempt to put it home didn’t go. He is the eighth Montreal player to score multiple overtime goals in a single postseason

Alexander Romanov scored his first of the playoffs and Carey Price stopped 32 shots for the Canadiens, who are 6-1 in overtime in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Montreal’s penalty kill was perfect, blunting all five of Tampa Bay’s power play opportunities.

Barclay Goodrow tallied in the middle frame and Pat Maroon scored with 6:12 remaining in regulation to tie the tilt for a second time. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 18 saves for the Lightning, who fell to 0-4 in overtime.

Game 5 will be on Wednesday night in Tampa at Amalie Arena.
