Florida Panthers release training camp roster

The Florida Panthers have released the 39-man roster for the club’s 2020-21 training camp. Florida will have 21 forwards, 13 defensemen and five goaltenders attending camp as the team will embark on a 56-game schedule set in a reconfigured Central Division. The first on-ice session of training camp is set to begin on Monday, January 4 at the BB&T Center.

Two notable players not on the roster are unsigned restricted free agents Aleksi Saarela and Henrik Borgstrom, who are both currently playing in Finland’s Liiga.

All training camp practices are scheduled to take place at BB&T Center. Training camp practices will be closed to the public and open to a limited number of media.

Florida opens the season with two games on home ice against the Dallas Stars on Thursday, January 14 and Friday, January 15.
