NHL Signings

The Seattle Kraken signed goaltender Antoine Bibeau to a one-year, two-way contract. Bibeau spent the 2020-21 season with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves. This move should be of some interest to Florida Panthers fans as the 27-year-old could see time with the Charlotte Checkers. Bibeau joins Joey Daccord as the second goalie that the Kraken has on a two-way deal. (Charlotte Checkers)

The Calgary Flames signed defenseman Nikita Zadorov to a one-year contract worth $3.75 million, avoiding an arbitration hearing scheduled for next week. Zadorov, 26, played 55 games last season with the Chicago Blackhawks, where he produced one goal and seven assists. He was traded to the Flames on July 28 for a third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. (Matchsticks & Gasoline)
