The Florida Panthers (finally) return to action tonight when they host the Boston Bruins at Amerant Bank Arena in Game 1 of the second round of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Florida only needed five-games (albeit hard-fought ones) to dispatch the Tampa Bay Lightning for the first-time in franchise history while the Bruins had to go overtime in Game 7 to topple the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Panthers have won both postseason meetings between the two clubs, including last year’s thrilling comeback from a 3-1 deficit. Boston went 2-0-2 against the Cats during the regular season. Second line center Sam Bennett remains out for the Panthers.
