Preseason GameDay Caterwaul / Thread: Florida Panthers vs Nashville Predators

After three straight days of practice, the Florida Panthers will open the preseason with a doubleheader against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena.

The first game of the set will start at 4:30 p.m. ET and then after a short break, the nightcap will follow at 8:00 p.m. ET

Yesterday, the Panthers reduced their training camp roster down to 51 players.

Defensemen Gustav Bouramman and Dylan MacPherson, forwards Matt Marcinew, Greg Meireles, Liam Pecararo, and Matthew Wedman have been loaned to Florida’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds and are expected to attend Springfield’s training camp.

Defenseman Vladislav Kolyachonok has been returned to his Ontario Hockey League (OHL) junior club, the Flint Firebirds, forward Cole Schwindt has been returned to his OHL junior club, the Mississauga Steelheads, defenseman John Ludvig has been returned to his Western Hockey League (WHL) junior club, the Portland Winterhawks and forward Henrik Rybinski has been returned to his WHL junior club, the Seattle Thunderbirds.

Florida’s training camp roster now stands at 30 forwards, 15 defenseman and six goaltenders.
