• Hockey Weekend Across America kicks off with "Wear Your Favorite Hockey Jersey" Day. Our attorney friends will be looking extra sharp this afternoon sporting their JetBlues during family arbitration hearings.
• Wings fans are looking forward to carrying over last night's success in Tampa Bay with a similar effort in Sunrise. Conversely, Bolts Faithful were pleased just to get the Yzerman hoopla behind them.
• Behold the Panthers' next Five Minute Man.
• GM Tallon on listening to trade proposals for any and all of his players: "This team hasn’t done anything in 10 years, so why wouldn’t I?"
• More on center Stephen Weiss and the Panthers' "tough decision" to come.
• The Hurricanes will be retiring former captain Rod Brind'Amour's #17 this weekend. Gotta say, we're really going to miss his performances against Florida: 63 points (28 goals) in 84 career games. His 6 gamewinners were a hoot as well.
