DIVISIONALLY SPEAKING
YESTERDAY IN THE SOUTHEAST
- The 39-point Thrashers beat the 60-point Canadiens 4-2 in Atlanta. Noteworthy only for the competition given to Tampa Bay. Gotta be panic time in Montreal.
- Dany Heatley scored two goals and Antoine Vermette had three assists as the Sens shocked Washington in Ottawa, 3-2.
- There was no clear winner in this snoozefest, Florida-wise, but Carolina defeated the Penguins in Pittsburgh, thankfully in regulation time, 2-1. The Panthers/Hurricanes flipflopping continues./
TONIGHT
- Atlanta @ Philadelphia, 7p. Over before it begins.
- Buffalo @ Tampa Bay, 7:30p. Much as it pains me: Go Bolts./

THE WARMUP
Erskine vs. Laus, with an angry Worrell orbiting. No date on this one, but classic Laus.
