The Florida Panthers have re-signed defenseman Gustav Forsling and forward Anthony Duclair to new contracts.

Forsling’s deal is for three years and carries an average annual value of $2.66 million.

The 25-year-old registered five goals. 12 assists and 17 points (all career-highs) in 43 regular season games during the 2020-21 season after being claimed off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes. He added one goal and one assist in Florida’s first-round loss to the eventual Stanley Cup champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning

Duclair has also signed on for more three years with an average annual value of $3 million.

The former third round pick of the New York Rangers put up 10 goals and 32 points after signing a one-year, $1.7 million deal before the start of the season after he failed to work out an extension with the Ottawa Senators. The Duke led the team’s forwards with a career-high +27 rating, he also finished fifth on the team in assists (22) and even-strength points (29).
