Huberdeau, Atlantic fall to Pacific in All-Star Game Final

Tomas Hertl scored the tournament-winning goal with 2:36 remaining, as the Pacific Division rallied from a two-goal deficit to edge the Atlantic Division 5-4 to win the 2020 Honda NHL All-Star Game 3-on-3 tournament at Enterprise Center in St. Louis.

After scoring a goal in a 9-5 win over the Metropolitan Division, Florida Panthers forward Jonathan Huberdeau tallied a goal and an assist in the first half of the Final to finish his first ASG appearance with three points.

Despite Hertl’s heroics and five total goals, the Atlantic Division’s David Pastrnak was named the Most Valuable Player.

Pastrnak had a hat trick and an assist in the Atlantic’s opening 9-5 victory over the Metropolitan, and then he had a goal and an assist in the Final.

The Pacific Division won for the third since the 3-on-3 tournament format was introduced in 2016.

Led by four goals from Hertl and three from Leon Draisaitl, the Pacific crushed the host Central Division 10-5 to reach the Final.

We’ll send you off with Huderdeau’s first goal of night against the Metropolitan Division and Tristan Jarry.
