Not much brewing from Sunrise in recent days, or hockey in general for that matter. The only drama of note may be in determining the eventual landing spot of former Blackhawks prospect and college star Kevin Hayes (pictured above), which reports suggest is already underway. A bit of an old story around here, as we’re quite aware of the potential for the Panthers to dive in with an offer, if only because his older sibling, Jimmy, recently re-signed with the club.
