Denis Potvin to rejoin Florida Panthers broadcast team
Longtime Florida color analyst returns for second stint with the Cats.
In a bit of surprising news, FOX Sports Florida has announced that Denis Potvin will be back in the television broadcast booth for the Florida Panthers this season. Potvin will take over for Bill Lindsay as the team's color analyst alongside play-by-play man Steve Goldstein. The Hall-of-Fame defenseman held the position for sixteen seasons before he was let go in 2009. Potvin spent the last four seasons with the Ottawa Senators broadcast team.
Lindsay, a former Panther player, will remain a part of the Cats' broadcasts, joining Drew Goldfarb on the Panthers Live! pregames, intermissions and postgame shows.
