NHL releases full preseason schedule; Panthers make change

The NHL has released the full slate of preseason games for the upcoming 2016-17 campaign. The Florida Panthers will play seven exhibition tilts this year. The Cats will open with a double-header versus the Nashville Predators at the BB&T Center. The club has shifted its October 2nd match-up against the Dallas Stars from Sunrise to London, Ontario’s Budweiser Gardens, leaving the October 6th contest with the Tampa Bay Lightning as the only other preseason date at the BB&T Center. In addition, the Panthers will play the Bolts in Tampa, the Stars in Dallas and conclude the exhibition schedule at Tate Rink in West Point, NY versus the New Jersey Devils. The Cats will face the Devils on October 13th to open the regular season.
