Panthers' special teams fail in 4-2 loss to the Senators
The Ottawa Senators scored three times in the third period to erase a one-goal deficit and left Sunrise with a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers, who have now lost two in a row.
Zack Smith and Kyle Turris scored power-play goals, red-hot Mike Hoffman potted the game-winner and Jean-Gabriel Pageau added a shorthanded empty-netter to clinch it.
Florida's Logan Shaw opened the scoring with his first career NHL goal and Reilly Smith put the Cats up 2-1 in the second period with a sweet breakaway tally.
Former Panther Craig Anderson stopped 27 shots to get the win, while Roberto Luongo finished with 19 saves.
