Update: Nick Bjugstad signs six-year deal with Florida Panthers

First-round selection in 2010 stays in the fold for a while. A long while.

Breaking late but good news regardless of the timing:

#FlaPanthers new six year deal with C Nick Bjugstad keeps him through RFA years as well as first UFA ones as well. Nice deal for both.

So Bjugstad is now Piece Number One to be secured via a long contract among a rich and growing prospect camp in Florida. More to come...
