San Antonio Rampage announce “Clear Day” roster

The American Hockey League’s annual “Clear Day” has passed, signifying league rosters may not rise above a 22-player maximum in order to participate in the rest of the season & Calder Cup playoffs. Players can only be added to an existing AHL roster should emergency conditions develop such as injury, promotion to the NHL, or league/team issued suspension. The Rampage are now in compliance, carrying 22 and a reserve.
As I’ve mentioned previously, junior players who are under contract can be added to the roster. This can only happen when the junior player’s team’s season has ended. College free-agents on amateur tryouts or entry-level contracts can also be added.
