The Florida Panthers now have four skaters participating in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Center Vincent Trocheck was named to the 23-man roster of Team North America (a combination of American and Canadian U23s) yesterday, replacing the injured Sean Monahan of the Calgary Flames.
The Wordl Cup of Hockey begins on September 17 and is scheduled to run until October 1, fi the final goes the maximum three games. Team North America will be in Group B with Russia, Finland and Sweden.
Aleksander Barkov and Jussi Jokinen will play for Finland and Aaron Ekblad will be Trocheck’s teammate on Team North America.
