While the Cats were beating Buffalo, the Lightning doubled up the slumping Colorado Avalanche by a 6-3 count. League scoring leader Nikita Kucherov, who is up to 93 points, scored two goals and added an assist and Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos each contributed a goal and an assist to help Tampa Bay register its 30th win of the campaign.
