Another week is in the books and we creep a little closer to September and the start of the exhibition season, which for the Florida Panthers begins in just under a month with a split-squad doubleheader in Nashville versus the Predators.
In case you missed it, Aleksander Barkov was featured on NHL Network’s countdown show Top 20 Centers Right Now last night. This marks Barkov’s debut on the ranking, which first premiered as Top 20 Forwards Right Now on NHL Network last offseason.
Top 20 Centers Right Now is part of a slate of countdown shows that NHL Network is producing throughout the 2017 offseason. It will be repeated, so keep an eye out.
The NHL wire was quiet this weekend with Buffalo’s signing of Zemgus Girgensons on Thursday the last transaction to take place.
