Since there has been no substantive denial – or any denial whatsoever – from either the club (currently helmed by managing partner Cliff Viner since 2009) nor rumored buyer Vincent Viola since news broke Sunday regarding a potential sale of the team, it would appear we may be witnessing one of the fastest ownership transactions in North American pro sports history, at least the portion which has been made public.
We’ll see how this plays out on Friday.
