After getting swept by Nashville to start the preseason, the Florida Panthers have posted back-to-back road wins over Montreal and Dallas to even its meaningless games record at 2-2.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are also 2-2 in the preseason. They beat the Predators 5-2 on home ice Saturday night with prospect Connor Ingram getting the win in goal.

Both teams have made deep cuts to their respective training camp rosters with the Cats down to 32 players and the Bolts currently carrying 28, so we should see a lot of talent on the ice tonight.

James Reimer went the  distance against the Stars in Tulsa, so I’d expect for Roberto Luongo to get the start tonight and perhaps play the entire game with either Michael Hutchinson, who is still in camp after clearing waivers, or Reimer backing up. I’ll update this information as it becomes available as the day goes on.

The Panthers and Lightning will meet again on Thursday in Orlando before finishing the exhibition slate against each other on Saturday night in Sunrise.
