Florida Panthers vs. Carolina Hurricanes: Prospect Showcase Tournament GameThread

The Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes will play the first game of the Prospect Showcase Tournament at Advent Health Center Ice complex in Wesley Chapel, Florida at 10 a.m. this morning. At 2 p.m., the host Tampa Bay Lightning will take on the Nashville Predators at AMALIE Arena.

In a bit of god news for the hockey-starved out there, the game will be streamed on FloridaPanthers.com. This will be a regular sixty minute game with a 3-on-3 overtime if tied after the third period. It looks there will be a shootout (5 shooters each) after the game regardless of the score.

The Panthers will play 20 of the 24 players from its development camp roster consisting of:
