Florida Panthers at Ottawa Senators – Game 35 Preview

Florida: 18-10-6 (42PTS)
Ottawa: 16-14-4 (36PTS)
Season Series: 0-1-0
Game Time: 7:30 PM EST
Television: Fox Sports Florida, Sportsnet Ottawa
Radio: 560 WQAM

The Panthers are on a quick pre-Christmas two-game road trip. Both games are against teams that will be in the Panthers’ new conference starting next season: the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins. The Panthers have not been good against the Senators. The Sens swept the last season series and are 40-24-3-2 against the Panthers all time. The Cats added to their string of injuries this week, losing both Marco Sturm and Mikael Samuelsson in Tuesday’s game against the Coyotes. The Panthers still hold a seven point lead for the division, but have only won five of their last ten games.
