Florida Panthers to be well-represented at IIHF World Championship

Total of Cats participating in the tourney reaches six.

Four more Florida Panthers players will be joining early invitees Jaromir Jagr and Aaron Ekblad at the IIHF World Championship, which starts Friday in the Czech Republic.

Aleksander Barkov will make his first tournament appearance for Team Finland, which will be captained by veteran Cat forward Jussi Jokinen.

Speaking of captains, Tomas Kopecky, who has been a mainstay on the national team, will captain the Slovaks.

Rounding out the sextet of Panthers on display in Prague and Ostrava will be Russian defenseman Dmitry Kulikov.
