GameDay Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

After what felt like yet another eternal layoff, the Florida Panthers are back in action tonight as they host the Arizona Coyotes at the BB&T Center in Sunrise. We’re nearly a full month into the NHL season, and the Panthers have the fewest games played of any team in the league with a whopping seven games under their collective jocks. Let’s hope the Cats took that time to recharge and focus, because the month of November will not be kind to them. Starting tonight, the Panthers will play a game almost every other night until just after the start of the new year. How the NHL’s schedule makers operate, I will never understand.

Tune in to the usual channels and watch for the ever-present LBC GameThread opening live before the puck drops. As always, we encourage you to hit up our sister site, Five for Howling, and stop by to ask them how much they enjoy watching their team’s power play for 12 minutes a game. Lastly, if you’re an analytics buff check out our own Shane O’Donnell’s new site, Fancy Cats, for some really solid post-game number crunching.

Party on, Wayne.
