Super Series: Huberdeau Strikes Twice In QMJHL Victory

Jonathan Huberdeau, the top prospect of the Florida Panthers, scored two goals and assisted on another to power the QMJHL team past Russia 5-2 in game two of the Subway Super Series.

Huberdeau scored both of his goals in the second period. He collected an assist on Jonathan Drouin’s third period tally which was the final goal of the game.

The star of the Saint John Sea Dogs bounced back from a spotty game one performance which saw him set up two goals but finish with a -4 rating during the 6-2 loss on Monday.

Russia moves on to Guelph, Ontario to play the OHL all-stars in game three tonight. The same two teams will hook up in Sarnia for game four on November 12th,
